"Mr. Scrooge & Mr. Dickens" is a faithful adaptation of the beloved
holiday classic "A Christmas Carol," written by multiple award-winning
author and longtime SoCal newspaper columnist Charles Carr, with a
fascinating new embellishment: Charles Dickens himself appears onstage
to read sections from his manuscript -- primarily descriptive passages
describing the times, an aspect generally lost in theatrical
productions of the work.
The production is further enhanced by carolers, dancers, music, and
powerful sound effects. There will also be a visit by Santa at the end
of the show (but save the surprise for your little ones!).
"Mr. Scrooge & Mr. Dickens" was first performed last year at another
North County theater to sold out audiences. So buy your tickets early
to avoid disappointment!
