Cast Requirements:
JIMMY ZOOLE: (Mid-late 30’s) An actor who has not made it, but has not, so far, given up trying. Plays everything safe. Life has not been kind to him. His sense of humor has often saved him from flipping out.

VITO ANTONUCCI: (Late 20’s, early-mid 30’s) He’s been through more than his share of scrapes. Humpy, in an off-beat, scroungy, tom-cattish way, Vito would do, and has done, anything to get by. Despite a tacky life, colorful language, and his wise-guy toughness, he is an optimist, a part-time romantic and a sensitive soul.

KATE HOUGH: (Early-mid 30’s) A Pretty, sassy, liberated fashion photographer with a mind and life-style of her own. A girl with very few hang-ups, she is candid and even opinionated, but not without warmth and caring. She has decided to cut off the relationship with Jimmy because the time has now come wherein the hassles of the relationship are outweighing the joys.

FRED GABLE: (Mid-late 30’s) Good-looking teacher. Well-dressed, well-educated. Even though he thinks of himself as with-it and really tries to be, but in actuality, he is a bit behind it.
Plot Synopsis:
“Abandoned by his girlfriend on New Year's Eve and still unaware that his beloved cat, Bobby Seale, has died in an animal clinic, hopeless New York actor, Jimmy Zoole, is feeling depressed and unstable when he happens across a cat burglar, Vito, in his apartment. Furious, he beats the stranger unconscious and ties him to his kitchen sink. Jimmy begins to torment his terrified captive; however, the unlikely pair soon establishes a certain bond. Vito once had a wife who left him after she discovered he was gay. Jimmy questions his own orientation as his relationship to Vito takes on a homosexual dimension, and decides to use his prisoner to exact revenge on his former lover."
